The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled to begin at 2:30 PM Atlantic Time, with registration and sign up to speak at the Open Forum portion of the meeting beginning earlier at 2:15 PM. You should have received the email with the link to participate – if not, contact us!
The meeting AGENDA is available on the Sunset Dunes PEI website in the Member Documents area under “2021 AGM”
If you cannot attend the meeting, please complete the AGM Proxy Form (also in the Member Documents area under “2021 AGM”) and return to allow you to vote by proxy at the AGM.
In response to some questions about the Resolution section of the AGM Agenda, here a few points about what that section will look like:
- Each of the four Resolution proposals will be allocated 15 minutes, broken down into four parts
- Introduction by the authors of the proposal
- A question period from the membership to ask clarifying questions on the proposal of the authors
- Debate of the proposal by the membership, going back and forth between queues of those that wish to speak supporting the proposal (thumbs up on Zoom) and those that wish to speak against the proposal (thumbs down on Zoom)
- Close out and deal with the proposed Resolution (e.g. a vote, a poll, a tabling of the proposal, …)
